The lamps including original shades are in amazing condition being 31 yrs old. There is some paint chipped off around the socket this would be understandable because of the location of the light switch. I found a very small (flea bite) 2- chips consistent with the age. I am not a professional I am the seller/ owner. I looked these over top to bottom and I am giving my best account of the condition of these amazing lamps. Please refer to photos. These lamps have been in and clean and smoke free environment
