The composition reflects the intimate spirituality typical of late 17th century Baroque religious painting, with softly modeled figures, graceful gestures, and a warm palette of deep blues, rose, and gentle flesh tones.
Mary inclines her head toward the infant Christ in a tender maternal moment, while the child looks upward with animated expression. Behind them, the attendant angel folds its hands in reverence, creating a balanced triangular composition common in Baroque devotional imagery.
