This particular painting depicts a French Parisian street scene of the Late 19th Century with horse-drawn carriage, figures, flowers and French architecture with heavy impasto oil paint palette knife technique. It is framed in giltwood with a off-white linen fillet. It is signed J. Gaston on the bottom right. The back of the canvas shows vintage labels indicating the importer, W. T.
