Smith swung vase from the 1960s showcases the perfect blend of pressed glass technique and hand-stretched artistry. The faceted body catches the light beautifully, leading down to a decorative diamond-patterned (aka “diamond butt”) base with a star-pressed exterior bottom.

While it lacks the original foil label, the craftsmanship and design are characteristic of L.E. Smith production. A heavy, high-quality piece of American glasswork in a striking “avocado green” hue.

MEASUREMENTS
14 ¾ in (37.5 cm) tall x 3 ¼ in (8.3 cm) diameter. Weighs 1 lb 9.6 oz.

CONDITION
The vase is bright and shiny and has no significant scratches, chips, or cracks. The foot rim shows slight wear. There are a few dark spots inside at the very bottom that I had trouble reaching when trying to clean the inside.
