Designed in the 1960s by Ingmar Relling and produced by Westnofa, the iconic Siesta set stands as one of the purest expressions of Scandinavian Modernism. Celebrated for its sculptural bent plywood frame and suspended leather seating, the design combines visual lightness with exceptional comfort—so successful it famously furnished the White House. This example features a beautifully preserved bentwood frame paired with supple black leather upholstery, both in excellent vintage condition with only minimal signs of age. Timeless, functional, and deeply elegant, the Siesta remains a globally recognised Norwegian design classic and a highly desirable collector’s piece. I have official proof of authenticity such as vintage catalogs,
designer records,
or other literature sources and take full responsibility for any authenticity issues arising
