Set of six vintage "Model No. 233" chairs designed by Michael Thonet for Thonet, Czechoslovakia, with bentwood backrest and armrests and cane seats. Some bear the original "Thonet" label, and all bear the engraved manufacturer's mark. Made in Czechoslovakia in the 1920s and 1930s.
The cane on one pair of chairs has been remade using the original method. This piece has an attribution mark,
