Bendtsen’s works are characterized by realism combined with a poetic atmosphere, capturing beauty in the ordinary. His art is represented in several Danish museums, including the National Gallery of Denmark (SMK) and ARoS. In 1964 he was knighted with the Order of the Dannebrog. See less
