This antique table from Italy is comprised … Read more An Italian carved-wood pedestal console table, in urn motif, from the 18th/19th century. This antique table from Italy is comprised of a 18th century elaborately carved an gold-gilt wood urn pedestal (prior fragment), which is raised upon a stacked 19th century based (more bronze in color). The urn fragment is carved with floral and scrolling acanthus leaf embellishments. The top is a later addition; having a demi shape with scalloped edging, and hand-painted, faux-marble painted finish (20th century). There is nice age and patina throughout. The backside has iron braces for additional support. This antique Italian console table, with fabulous urn fragment pedestal base, is just over 4 feet in length. See less
