Antique early 1900s Russian samovar. Made in Tula, Russia by Shemariny Brothers. Samovars are traditional metal containers which were used for boiling water to make tea in Russia. This is an exquisite ornate example with a fluted turnip shape. Beaded edge, scroll handles, footed base, and separate tray.
The samovar measures 14 x 14 x 20 inches tall.
The tray measures 10.5 x 19 inches.
Both items have etched makers marks.
