Odd that this is called a still life when there is so much movement in the texture. The technique highlights the definition of its brushstrokes, adding dimensionality to complement the bright colors of the paint and the expressionistic choice of form. The artist signed the painting in the lower right illegibly, and is , unfortunately, unknown.. See less
