Marbled green finish with gold leaf border surround the winged Archangel Gabriel. Like new condition, all three.Makers mark on undersides.
"When the ancient Roman city of Pompeii was unearthed in the early eighteenth century, designers at the time revived classical motifs such as angels and laurel wreaths. Our trumpeting Archangel Gabriel is adapted in porcelain from a rare pattern book dated 1777, now in the collection of Colonial Williamsburg." from the Mottahedeh Website.
