A striking example of mid-century italian lighting, this piece showcases stilnovo’s signature blend of minimalism, innovation, and refined detailing.

the lamp stands on a solid white carrara marble base, lending a sense of timeless elegance and stability. A slender, white-painted vertical stem rises from the base and transitions into a black vertical arm, which is rotatable for directional lighting. The end of the black arm is finished with a luxurious brass pin, serving both a functional and decorative purpose, adding a refined contrast and visual interest. Two asymmetrically placed acrylic glass shades are mounted on the arm, each fitted with its own pull-cord switch, allowing them to be lit independently. One shade features a warm yellow diffuser, while the other boasts a cool blue hue. Both shades are backed with white acrylic glass and are affixed to the structure with signature rectangular brass fittings; a hallmark of stilnovo’s attention to detail and craftsmanship. When illuminated, the lamp emits a beautiful ambient glow, acting not just as a source of light but as a sculptural presence in any room.

It remains in good condition, with selective refinishing carried out to preserve its original character and charm. We have a matching pair of wall lights available which is visible on the last pictures. This lamp is checked in our own atelier, cleaned and is also suitable for use in the usa as is. For us usage we could change the plug, or you can get a converter if needed for a floor or table lamp with transformer in it. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
