The figure wears a loose hood and a sort of net or woven shoulder strap, elements that suggest a popular, maritime setting typical of the neapolitan verist school of the late 19th or early 20th century.

the cast features a textured, textured surface, with a dark patina that accentuates the contrasts of light on the facial features. The work rests on a base made of veined marble blocks, which unfortunately shows some signs of aging and missing edges. On the back of the neck, achille d'orsi's signature is engraved in the bronze, while the hollow structure of the bust is secured to the base with a central threaded pin.
