This antique flask is embossed “Warranted Flask,” a common late 19th-century marking used to denote quality rather than a specific maker. Produced circa 1880–1900, it represents a classic American utility whiskey flask form with a flattened oval body, rounded shoulders, and short tooled neck.
The bottle features a recessed circular panel, originally intended for a paper label, along with visible mold characteristics including light waviness in the glass, internal bubbles, and a hand-finished lip. These details are consistent with mold-blown, tooled production from the transitional period before full machine manufacturing.
Today, the flask displays with a rich amethyst tone (achieved through irradiation) that enhances its visual presence, making it an appealing piece for display in vintage barware collections or industrial-style interiors.
