Alexander Portnoff (Russian and American Sculptor, born 1887-1949). A wonderful classical form of pool fountain. A fine focal point to the outdoor waterworks, Beaux-arts taste, and stately decoration. Cast Bronze fountain with three fountain heads from the mouths of dolphins. Putti riding across the back of the dolphins playing a classical reed flute. Heavy cast bronze with true Verdigris patina. The size of the sculpture is 21" tall, base 11"wide, and 12" deep. Signed A Portnoff Kunst Foundry NY.
