One has a small chip, and both display normal wear from their age, having been crafted in Paris between 1800 and 1830.
Sourced by a Clover’s Cottage member from the same estate sale as other listed pieces, they show some pitting but stand out as highly unusual and unique, with no similar bowls found in our search.
Believed to feature the Barbeau pattern—marked by the soft pink flowers of the classic French “décor aux Barbeaux” style famously favored by Marie Antoinette—each dish also boasts a scalloped edge and ornate mercuric gilding, hallmarks of Old Paris porcelain from this era. See less
