Draw leaf table with 6 chairs. A fantastic and unusual set, the table features draw leaf at each end to extend and lovely details top to bottom. Butterfly joint details on top, Viking ship details along trim at both sides, and wonderfully carved legs with curve cross stretcher. Two arms chairs and four matching side chairs with cutout details at back, and ball details at cross stretchers. Maker unknown, possibly Norwegian but was purchased by one of the former owners in Ireland and brought back to the US.

Condition: The cross stretchers were removed at some point and most recent owner reattached with brass details and screws as shown. The set shows some natural cosmetic wear as expected with age (likely 1930’s-1940’s). Finish wear, scratches, areas of discoloration, and cosmetic stable splits along wood grain on some chairs. A sturdy set all around. See less
