(The L is faint but it’s there). Oil on a stretched canvas in an ornate, carved wood frame. Has the original American stretcher. Depicts a tranquil landscape scene with a stream flowing through a forested area at sunset. Is in excellent condition with crazing but no tears, no serious damage or repairs. Could use a cleaning. The frame was guilded at one time, but it has worn off and is a very pale gold, almost gray. Also in excellent condition.
