A cream-colored marble disk, hand-carved in Indonesia, contemporary.
Reminiscent of the traditional "Bi" disks omnipresent throughout Asia since prehistory to symbolize heaven and the cyclical nature of life, this beautiful disk was crafted from a transversal cut of off-white marble, slightly veined, with few inclusions. Hand carved and hand-polished by local artisans.
The disk is 24 inches in diameter, and it rests freely on a bespoke metal stand with a 6" x 10" in base, for a total height of 29.5 inches.
Two are available in the same size (24 inches). Although the marble is the same, no two pieces are exactly alike, because of the natural veining of the marble.
