The model features a distinctive … Read more An original pair of webpelzhocker stools manufactured in east germany (gdr) by veb elektroinstallation deutschneudorf. The model features a distinctive aluminum frame and a seat covered in soft, decorative “webpelz” fabric (faux fur).
the minimalist design rests on three slender aluminum legs connected by a triangular base cast from aluminum. This form was typical of modernist functional design in the gdr during the 1960s and 1970s.
the stools feature soft, upholstered seats in two colors—green and coral-red—which gives them a very decorative, slightly pop-art character. They can be used as stools, side stools, or decorative elements in a vintage/mid-century interior.
height: green 49 cm and red 46 cm.
