The fossilized wood itself formed approximately 20 million years ago in the volcanic landscapes of Indonesia. During this remarkable geological process, the original wood gradually transformed into stone as minerals such as quartz, chalcedony, and jasper replaced the organic material while preserving the structure of the tree.

The top surface reveals soft grey, beige, and charcoal tones, arranged in natural circular patterns that reflect the ancient growth structure of the tree.
