David' lounge chairs and hocker by Odile Mir for Delmas, produced for Prisunic, 1972
This rare set comes from a French collection in Nice, belonging to personal friends of the artist, and were part of the iconic "Filo" collection.
The design features a geometric chrome-plated tubular frame, with each corner subtly pointing upward. Metal springs integrated at the back corners and in the backrest support the cowhide sling seat. The striking contrast between white and brown hide gives the chair a powerful visual presence.
from every angle, this piece is a sculptural statement: architectural, minimal, and highly innovative, characteristic of 1970s design.
I have official proof of authenticity such as vintage catalogs,
designer records,
or other literature sources and take full responsibility for any authenticity issues arising
from
misattribution
