Striking antique French Napoléon III 'méridienne' (chaise longue) offering a unique, eclectic blend of 19th-century architectural elegance and vibrant late 20th-century design. The piece features the classic asymmetrical silhouette, a gracefully scrolled arm, and rests on its original traditional ebonized wood legs. It has been boldly re-upholstered in a vintage 1980s/1990s pastel geometric fabric reminiscent of the postmodern movement, expertly finished with classic brass nailhead trim. An exceptional statement piece, perfect for bringing a striking historical contrast to transitional or postmodern interiors." This piece has an attribution mark,
