A sculptural, organically shaped design classic! with its beautiful, slender wooden frame, this table is already an eye-catcher; the large, thick dark glass top completes the picture perfectly! The model is a design by the top Danish designer, Illum Wikkelso, for manufacturer Niels Eilersen. This designer was already well known in the 1950s and 60s for his striking designs characterized by clean lines and flowing forms; he drew his inspiration from the Danish landscape. Over the years, his work has come to be known as distinctive, trendsetting, and typical of the Danish Mid-Century style. All his furniture has one thing in common: form and function go hand in hand.
