french antique brass rise and fall pump desk lamp an original french rise and fall desk lamp. The lamp is brass and retains its original milk glass opaline shade. The shade arm can be moved up and down the lamp stem, holding the desired position, the arm joint is a ball and socket enabling the shade to also be adjusted the either vertically or horizontally. This lamp retains some fine original detailing and some nice patina making it a good example. Dimensions: stem : 54cm arm : 18cm shade diameter:15cm origin : france circa : 1900s workshop report : this lamp is in its original condition, lightly cleaned and waxed. There is some nice aging and patina to the brass in places. It has been rewired with 2m of twisted brown flex and a ce certified switched bayonet bulbholder and bs 3 pin plug. Lamp has been pat tested. As with all our products, this product is an original vintage item so there are signs of wear from use. I have official proof of authenticity such as vintage catalogs,
