The Eros armchair by French designer Philippe Starck stands out as an iconic piece of contemporary design, both sculptural and surprisingly functional. Designed in 2001 as an enveloping polycarbonate shell, it adopts an open egg shape, conceived to gently cradle the body while asserting a strong visual presence.
