A fabulous vintage italian space age 'bud grande' floor lamp by harvey guzzini (1929-2020). Circa 1970s.
the lamp having a wide cognac toned acrylic shade with chromed edging, and raised on a chromed column and tulip weighted base. It offers a beautifully diffused, atmospheric light.
the lamp presents in excellent vintage condition, a very good example with only a little light age appropriate wear. There are some minor marks to the chromed base, as expected, though the chrome retains a wonderful shine. To note: a small 3.5 cm scratch to the shade. The lamp remains structurally sound.
the wiring is earthed three‑core, fully checked and pat tested. It retains an on/off floor switch labelled art 4508, which may well be original to the piece.
the shade will be removed and packed separately for shipping. This is very easy to reassemble. I have official proof of authenticity such as vintage catalogs,
