19th century georgian tambour bedside table circa 1800.
good quality georgian period mahogany nightstand in the sheraton taste.
shaped tray top with pierced carrying handles. below the top surface is a tambour door which opens up for storage space. the pull out drawer which would have housed the chamber pot has since been covered over to provide further storage. raised on square chamfered legs.
ideal for use as a bedside table or as a lamp table in the living room.
good colour and patina, minor surface marks in line with age and use.
