These rare andirons are made of very thick iron, are extremely heavy, and have acquired a lovely patina from age. The figures are depicted seated on footed plinths and have long iron rests mounted to the backside. As an original antique piece, they hold historical and cultural significance, embodying the elegance and craftsmanship of imperial Chinese design. Perfect for use in traditional fireplaces or as decorative accents, these andirons add a touch of authenticity and sophistication to any space. They each measure 11 1/4 x 4 1/4 x 19 in.
