Traveling Man Treasures is selling this extremely rare, one-of-a-kind antique Chinese dragon, made in the Ru Kiln during the Song Dynasty. The uniquely elegant dragon is in excellent condition as shown with no breaks, scratches, or cracking. The piece is signed via chop mark stamp on the bottom.
DIMENSIONS: 6.75" H x 3.75" W x 3.5" D
Ru kiln was one of the Five Great Kilns of the Northern Song dynasty, active primarily in today's Ruzhou, Henan province. Based on historical records and archaeological findings, it was in operation for only about 20 years—roughly from the Yuan You reign (1086) to the early years of Zheng He (around 1106).
