A striking and highly collectible example of early 20th-century American art glass by Durand, produced in Vineland, New Jersey between 1924–1931. This elegant hand-blown vase features a rich blue aurene iridescent finish accented with applied gold-toned threaded decoration, flowing organically around the body.
The surface displays a luminous, color-shifting metallic sheen with vibrant blue, teal, and warm gold highlights that change beautifully under light—comparable to the finest Tiffany Favrile and Steuben Aurene glass.
The underside retains a polished pontil and is hand-signed “Durand” with model numbering, confirming authenticity and period production.
