The vase features a vivid lemon yellow ground animated by flowing amethyst swirls embedded within the glass. The dynamic decoration was created during the blowing process, when colored glass strands were pulled through the molten body, forming organic patterns that rise along the curved surface.

The form is elegant and compact, with a softly rounded base that tapers into a narrow cylindrical neck. This balanced silhouette allows the internal color movement to become the central visual element.

Founded in 1958, the Carlo Moretti furnace is known for combining traditional Venetian craftsmanship with a modern design approach. Pieces from this period reflect the experimental direction of Murano glassmaking during the late twentieth century.
