Rare pendant lamp by Anvia, designed by the Dutch designer J.J.M. Hoogervorst in the 1960s.
The lamp impresses with its clean geometry. The basic form consists of two rectangular bodies rotated 45 degrees. The bodies are divided into louvers, which in this version are differentiated by copper and white. Light shines through or is reflected between the projecting louvers. Despite its simple form, this creates a very complex interplay of light. At the same time, the louvers shield the light source and prevent direct glare. The form and color scheme are effective whether the lamp is switched on or off.
The lamp is in very good condition with signs of use and patina. I have official proof of authenticity such as vintage catalogs,
