The fixture embodies the mid-century modern aesthetic, which at the time experimented with new textures and material combinations. The base is a dynamically shaped chrome-plated steel construction, professionally polished to a high luster. The metal elements are tastefully complemented by wood-imitation details, adding a warm organic accent typical of the "brussels style".
