An impressive pair of antique relief vases displaying detailed exotic historical motifs with birds, echesen framed by vines.
Made of high-quality ceramic, produced by the renowned Bernhard Bertram pottery factory around 1900 in Germany.
These fine ceramic art vessels display an aesthetic authentic patina, glazed in oxblood red and black.
As early as the 1860s, the Bernhard Bertram pottery factory in Lüftelberg near Cologne / Bonn, Germany, switched its production to high-quality decorative art objects made of terracotta, majolica, and faience, becoming the leading manufacturer in this field both nationally and internationally.
Until around 1930, Bernhard Bertram presented its products at international trade fairs and exhibitions and received numerous awards. The production finally ceased in the early 1970s.
