The mahogany veneer presents beautifully, with minor age-appropriate wear, light surface marks, and subtle variations consistent with use. The brass recessed hardware shows natural oxidation and wear consistent with age. All drawers operate smoothly, and the secrétaire mechanism functions properly. The fitted interior, including small drawers, pigeonholes, and concealed compartments, remains intact and in good working order. The green baize writing surface shows light wear consistent with age and use. Overall, a well-preserved example retaining strong character and authentic patina throughout. less
