Lavishly hand painted in vibrant florals atop a richly detailed gold and cobalt blue enameled surface, the piece is signed “Jaeger France Peint Main” and features intricate gilt scrollwork and a delicate botanical motif inside. The egg is set in a traditional hinged ormolu mount with a floral clasp.
