A standout example of mid-century modern lighting design, this piece combines technical innovation with refined minimalism, a hallmark of sarfatti’s influential work. The lamp features a sleek chrome-plated stem, rising elegantly from a cylindrical base finished in arteluce’s signature black crackle paint. This textured base treatment not only grounds the piece visually but also adds a tactile contrast to the polished chrome, enhancing its sculptural presence. The standout element is the wide diffuser shade, crafted from smoky brown-grey methacrylate, which emits a soft, atmospheric glow while subtly concealing the bulbs inside. The on and off switch is at the top of the lamp which is a functional feature. For us usage we could change the plug, or you can get a converter if needed for a floor or table lamp with transformer in it. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
