1950’s english machinists lamp – gooseneck. The lamp was produced in england in the fifties and used as a machinists task lamp. The lamp base has been fitted by us to allow easy desk use. The lamp features a flexible gooseneck with light spun aluminium shade. The lamp has been cleaned and restored but we have left the history and character, and where possible all electrical components have been removed and replaced with modern european ce standard components to bs en 60598. The lamp is individually tested and labelled. The lamp comes completely wired and ready to use as shown. The lamp is fitted with a standard e27 threaded lamp holder for which a wide range of modern and vintage style filament bulbs are widely available. We do not currently sell bulbs and recommend led bulbs 6w maximum. The lamp is currently wired and fitted for uk and eu compliance. The lamp can be wired for compliance in the us or any global market. The height of the lamp is measured when it’s fully extended. Workshop report: we take electrical safety very seriously, our workshop team inspect every product and carry out any needed repairs to ensure that every lamp leaves us serviced and maintained ready for many more years of life. Each lamp has been cleaned and restored and all original electrical components have been removed and replaced with modern european ce standard components to bs en 60598.
