The seat shells … Read more The chairs are characterized by their clear, functional design language, typical of european design from the 1970s. The seat shells are made of cream-white colored plastic and are ergonomically shaped. The gently inclined backrest and the slightly curved seat ensure comfortable seating and lend the design a calm, modern appeal. The upholstered seat and back cushions in dark blue fabric with a fine dotted pattern are particularly distinctive. These create a graphic contrast to the light-colored seat shell and underscore the typical spirit of the 1970s. The cushions are precisely fitted and harmoniously echo the shape of the shell. The seat shells are supported by a central, chrome-plated steel frame with a four-armed star base. This construction gives the chairs a light, almost floating appearance while simultaneously providing a stable foundation. Thanks to their swivel design, the chairs are suitable for dining areas, meeting rooms, or workspaces. The manufacturer's stamp, ovp belgium – design j.p., is located on the underside. Emonds-alt – modèle déposé stamped on the chair, confirming its belgian origin.

condition: good used condition with age-related wear. There are light scratches and marks on the plastic shells, as well as minor marks on the chrome frame. The cushions show slight wear but are clean and well-preserved. The frame is sturdy, and the swivel function works perfectly.
