Elegant art nouveau dressing table mirror made by the german firm wmf.
the sculptural frame is crafted from silver-plated metal and features a delicate composition characteristic of german jugendstil. On one side, a female figure with flowing lines and undulating drapery leans towards the mirror, while the upper portion is adorned with a stylized floral branch. An additional floral motif in the opposite corner visually balances the composition.
the organic lines and naturalistic treatment of the motifs fully reflect the decorative language of early 20th-century art nouveau.
the mirror retains its beveled glass, original wooden backing, and metal easel stand, allowing it to be placed stably on a dressing table or console.
the wmf hallmark with the ostrich logo and the model number 131 are displayed on the underside, confirming its production by this prestigious german manufacturer.
