Vintage Arzberg Porcelain Teapot – Form 1382 Blaublüten (Blue Blossom) – Designed by Dr. Hermann Gretsch – German Mid-Century Porcelain
This elegant vintage Arzberg porcelain teapot features the iconic Form 1382 design created in 1931 by celebrated German designer Dr. Hermann Gretsch. Considered a landmark of modern industrial design, the form is represented in the permanent design collection of the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York.
Crafted in fine white German porcelain, the teapot is decorated in the delicate Blaublüten (Blue Blossom) pattern, accented with a subtle blue trim along the rim. The clean lines and balanced proportions exemplify the timeless Bauhaus-influenced aesthetic for which Arzberg became internationally known.
The underside bears the classic Arzberg cursive backstamp associated with mid-20th-century production.
