The rectangular frame features richly carved Rococo motifs inspired by the period, including scrolling acanthus leaves, floral sprays, and stylized cartouches placed at each corner and along the lower apron. The original gold leaf finish presents a warm, beautifully aged patina that highlights the depth and texture of the carving.
The mirror plate is clear and bright with only minimal character marks appropriate to its period. The frame remains in excellent condition commensurate with age and use, offering both decorative impact and the graceful curves typical of Louis XV design.
