The piece is in excellent working condition as it has been rewired with new electrical hardware; 250V compatible brass socket with 3 way switch fit for spider or uno shade, new brass turn key, new electrical wiring, and faux suede fitted bottom surfaces protector. The central trout fish is engraved on the back with artist signature "JRI" is is carved out of wood an hand painted. The base is a polished rosewood. The shade is original to the lamp– an empire oval shade that has hand painted flys painted on both the front and back. The lamp measures 24" from base to top of shade, 17.5" base to socket, and 12" at base width.
