These four demitasse cups and saucers by LaGardo Tackett for Schmid are a study in modernist restraint, with the tall cylindrical cup form and simple loop handle reducing the coffee cup to its purest geometry. The all-white glaze and clean lines place them firmly in the tradition of mid-century American studio-influenced tableware design that Tackett was known for.
