A stunning 1960s brass lotus lamp with tiered petals stacked the full length of the stem, a black lacquered wood base, warm original patina, and a white drum shade. It belonged to Lee Venora, an opera singer who performed at the Met and sang opposite some of the greats. This lamp lit up her home for over 60 years.
Hand-assembled with extraordinary care. The original handwritten planning doc showing exactly how each petal was placed is included in the listing. Also includes extension pieces.
A rare find for a Hollywood Regency, MCM, bohemian, or eclectic interior.
