We are offering first look exclusively on Chairish. Remarkable Condition for such a detailed and delicate work of art. This rare, one of a kind piece is well suited to appeal to both a traditional regency style as well as a blended contemporary aesthetic decor statement. Don’t miss this opportunity. This magnificent Chinese folding screen captivates with its deep black lacquer surface, richly adorned with inlays
The composition depicts a luxuriant garden scene — blooming lilies in a bamboo forest of mother-of-pearl.
Each stone has been carefully carved and polished to reveal its natural translucency and color, creating a harmonious contrast against the glossy black background. The result is a striking three-dimensional effect, where light seems to breathe through the flowers and leaves.
Originally used as both a room divider and a decorative statement in refined interiors, this screen reflects the timeless Chinese appreciation for nature and craftsmanship. An exquisite piece that combines artistry, elegance, and cultural symbolism.
