A quintessential René Lalique piece the Dahlia chandeliers, model # 2495, were introduced in 1921 and first appeared in the product line in 1928 and was removed in 1932. They are listed in the catalogue raisonné by Marcilhac (Reference # 2459; page 592).
This pair of hemispherical frosted moulded glass is decorated in relief with dahlia blossoms and leaves. They both hang from four 4 eye-bolt hooks and honey colored silk supports cords with their original “Cannelé” frosted glass ceiling cap (# 2801).
