Willie Britt
Willie Britt~ is an award-winning sculptor known for her masterful bronze and prototype sculptures. She also works in oils, acrylics and pastels, infusing her work with precision, creativity, and a deep love for animals.
"Que' Curiosa"
Spring has arrived, and so have the foals. Willie's painting is mounted on a vintage, natural-finish wood box that enhances the warm, earthy tones of the artwork. Framed with a vintage leather bridle, accented with bronze and black tacks and turquoise studs, the foal takes center stage. Original black handle, metal clasps, and hinges complete the rustic design. Inside, a playful Western turquoise satin finish adds a delightful surprise—perfect for a jewelry box, keepsakes, photos, or treasured mementos.
Angela Camarillo~ Flying Lead Designs
I love working with Willie Britt, who is an amazing local artist of Westcliffe, Co. Together we create beautiful artwork and bring our creative visions together.
Being able to frame Willie's artwork and add my own creative touch has been such an amazing experience. Together, we’re not just creating beautiful pieces—we’re blending our styles and the spirit of our Westcliffe community.
Flying Lead Designs~ in the workshop, I’ve been crafting unique, one-of-a-kind frames that elevate each piece of art. My passion for repurposing and sustainability leads me on adventures and hunting for vintage treasurers gathering Western belts, belt buckles, conchos, cowhide and barn wood —all of which come together in distinctive, handcrafted frames. These designs merge Western charm, craftsmanship, and eco-conscious creativity.
