An authentic 1960s NASCO Murano hand-blown glass ashtray in rich amethyst and crystal clear sommerso glass, featuring tightly controlled internal bubbles and a sculptural floral form.
This substantial piece measures 7 inches across, 3 inches tall, and weighs approximately 2½ pounds. The form is biomorphic with four softly defined petal-like sides, giving it a fluid, mid-century modern presence.
The controlled bubble pattern is precise and deliberate—tiny bubbles that decrease in size as the spiral tightens toward the base of the bowl. The underside is ground and polished perfectly flat, and the original NASCO Murano foil label remains adhered to the surface.
Condition: Excellent vintage condition. Only the slightest signs of gentle prior use. No chips, cracks, or repairs.
